Red Bridge Field Trip, April 27th

12 members including 3 new ones met by the Keremeos Red Bridge for a field trip April 27th.



A rain squall came in shortly after we arrived, and we sought shelter under the bridge - what are the chances - a little spec of gold for Duane under the bridge - estimated value.........38 cents!

Many thanks to Jerome, Sandra, and Donna for bringing the supplies and preparing lunch.

Heads Up - Field Trip- June Meeting

Sunday April 27th - meet at 11:00 am at the Red Bridge in Keremeos. Club will supply hot dogs.

Regular Meeting June 4th - change of time and venue
4:00pm at Jerome and Sandra's in Osoyoos - more info at next meeting on food plans etc.

Field Trip after Summer Camp

Field Trip: North Vancouver Island
Field Trip:	Port McNeil
Date & Time:	August 9 (9:00 AM) to August 11, 2014
Meeting Location:	Depart Port Alberni after the conclusion of Summer Camp All field trips will depart from the Broughton Strait Campsite
Material:	Merry Widow Mine - Grande Portage Report Bonanza Marble Mine - Prospecting Report
Equipment:	Rock hammer, bucket, digging tools, gloves, water-proof boots, warm clothing, tent/RV, camping supplies
Vehicle:	Car (full tank of gas on all field trips), four wheel drive may be required
Campsite:	Broughton Strait Campsite Tenting or RVing 250-956-3224
Other:	Bring food, water, back pack There will be a couple of stops on the way for food and other supplies. Be sure to check with the WagonMaster BEFORE you go!!
