Greetings to all
Well after 2 years plus of
restrictions, fires, smoke and floods it is time to revive our Club.
The Club executive has met and discussed how to best move forward.
The first club meeting will take place on APRIL 16th at
1:00 p.m. The venue will be the Oliver Seniors Center, 5876 Airport
Street Oliver.
You will find attached a proposal to
alter some of our existing Constitution and Bylaws. This email will serve as 30
days notice of the proposal. These items will be discussed and voted on at this
April meeting. Current memberships will be available at this time.
We are hoping for an exciting
year combining field trips, presentations, events with other clubs and
local community displays. A request for interest was put out on social media
and we received a tremendous response from the community .
I would like to see as many members as
possible in attendance so we can all move the club forward with
enthusiasm. Please do not hesitate to contact me at the number below with

2. MEMBERSHIP

f. there is an expectation that club
members, excluding Lifetime Members, shall be active in all club activities and
contribute their support to the executive when called upon to do so. This may
include, but be not limited to, making a club presentation, leading a field
trip, researching a specific site, nurturing relationships with other clubs,
gaining approval to access sites and planning activities

3. GENERAL MEETINGS
a. The meetings of the club shall
be held each month at time and at a venue designated by the executive of the
club. Meetings shall be held in APRIL, MAY, JUNE, SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER and
NOVEMBER.

4. THE EXECUTIVES OF THE CLUB
a. The executive of the club
shall consist of five (5) elected Directors. The elected Directors will
determine a specific Director to fill the position of Chairperson, (President),
Vice-Chairperson, ( Vice President), Treasurer and Secretary. The 5th
person shall be designated as a Director at Large.
