CALL TO ALL ROCK PHOTOGRAPHERS -
We will be running a full colour submissions gallery in the Spring edition of the Rockhounder and would like for you to submit ...your pictures!

Subject - can be any BC site or material, in raw/natural form or worked into cab/rough cut/mineral specimen format. - please specify location (general is fine) the material was gathered and who worked it & took the photo.
Quality - as large and high resolution as possible (300 dpi is the bare minimum for publication)
Unpublished - please only submit photos that have NOT been published elsewhere, online or in print (includes social media) - we are looking for unique picts to share with the readership. Once the mag is published you are of course free to share your submission however you like.

Another unit out this month. A Lortone GCD-1 cabbing machine. Comes with new 80 grit and 220 grit Diamond wheels as well as four 1 by 1 1/2 inch rubber expanding drums with silicon carbide sanding belts. Grit sizes are 220, 320,400 and 600. These belts can be changed to also run diamond belts . Also comes with a polishing head on the right for compound to polish your stones
Water geyser included. Motor and switch mounted on back of unit. Ready to start using just plug it in. Just another option besides buying a Genie. Call or text for info. Thanks.

1725 rpm double arbor motor with two 2 1/2 inch hard felt wheels for diamond bort polish. Great for polishing those cabs to a high gloss . Comes with waterproof switch and a small tube of 14000 grit diamond polish. Felt wheels are already broken in with 14000 and 50000 diamond polish. Call or text for more info , Thanks.
