Workshop Details:
Instructor: Carla Swope
Learn how to use square and 1/2 round wire to set stones. This class is an introduction to professional looking solderless wire work. Learn to bend and manipulate wire correctly, securing stones without any glue or soldering. You will finish one pendant. Duration of class is 3 to 4 hours.
$30 per person cash or cheque (this is a BC Lapidary Society special price)Workshop includes: Wire, Instructions (step by step printout), tool rentals Does NOT include: Cabochon. You will need to supply your own stone, which should be a minimum of 1" by 1", but preferably larger up to 2.5" by 2.5". Feel free to bring multiple stones and choose at the workshop. It is recommended that you bring your own tools, including eye glasses or magnifiers. |
